We are beyond excited to have you join the Draw Your (S)words fam.
If you are new to this poetry event Draw Your (S)words -this is a place for all to connect, share poetry and be vulnerable in a safe space.
This month we have Spoken word poet Huda The Goddess gracing our stage- Australia Poetry Slam Champion and two-time QLD champ. Huda is an educator, mental health advocate, dancer and workshop facilitator. She describes poetry as one of her senses that has allowed her to turn her experiences into art and maintain her connection to her people.
Fancy sharing your poetry with us? We welcome you to brave it and sign-up to the open mic, tix to reserve your place on the mic, but be quick as spots are limited.. Or simply come along and watch poets share their words.
